About Me

It can feel like you've tried everything

Living with a dog who has behavioural problems is exhausting.

The advice online contradicts itself. Your dog struggles to settle, seems permanently on edge, or behaves in ways that feel random. And somewhere in all of that, you’ve stopped feeling confident about what they need.

It leaves people frustrated, embarrassed and worried, and unsure what to do next.

What working together is like

My job is to make your dog’s behaviour easier to understand.

We look at your individual dog, what their behaviour is telling us, and the situations they find difficult. You won’t leave a session with a list of complicated techniques and no idea what to do when real life happens. You’ll have a clear, structured plan that makes sense for you and your dog.

The work between sessions stays manageable. Short, practical exercises that fit into a normal week.

And I keep in touch as we go, so you stay confident with what you’re doing and the training stays on track.

The aim isn’t only that your dog’s behaviour changes. It’s that you feel calmer and better equipped to help them.

Who I work best with

You don’t need to know anything about dog behaviour before we start, and you certainly don’t need to get everything right.

You’ll probably get the most from working with me if you:

If you’re looking for a quick fix, I’m probably not your person. If you want to understand your dog and build something that lasts, we’ll get on well.

How I work

Your dog’s welfare is always at the front of what I do. Training should build trust, not rely on fear or intimidation.

Behaviour work is a partnership. I bring the knowledge, the structure and the coaching. What you do between sessions is what turns that into lasting change, and part of my job is keeping you on track and making sure you always know what we’re working towards.

Ultimately I want you confident enough that you don’t need someone standing next to you telling you what to do.

Jack was knowledgeable and helpful in improving our dog’s situation. We learnt many new techniques and were reassured along the way with confidence from Jack. Jack was very understanding and patient in our home with a nervous dog. I would highly recommend him to anyone

Jack helped us with both our dogs but more so Rusty with his general behaviour and also his barking at other dogs when we were out walking. Since working with Jack he is like a different dog. We’ve stopped him from barking and he will happily walk in places where there are other dogs. It is now enjoyable to take him to different places. Jack was brilliant though and if we have any other problems, or if we were to get another dog in the future, I would definitely be using Jack.

We called Jack after our rescue dog sparky decided after 2 years he was going to attack his big brother Oakley, this was over food and the ring of the door bell. This caused us so much stress and worry as some of the incidents had been so traumatic for us, and we also had a small child to think about. After many tears at the thought of potentially having to rehome him, we decided to give Jack ago. We can honestly say it’s the best thing we did! Jack was amazing! He worked out a plan for us, he was always at the end of the phone when we needed some advice, or had a panic about a new situation. Very responsibly priced for all the hours he had put into us, so patient and given us some really great homework to do between sessions. I would recommend Jack to anyone and everyone, which I do! Sparky is a completely different dog and back to how he was and most importantly we have all the skills to now control a situation if it was to happen and help him manage his anxiety. We would 100% use him again! We are so grateful. Ellee & Scott x

My rescue springer can be a strong puller whilst on the lead, but with Jack's guidance (and patience!), I have got to the stage where I can take Elwood out for a walk and the lead is loose! Jack’s positive approach to training and his insight to dog behaviour has made it an enjoyable experience for both me and my boy, and I am confident I now have the tools and techniques to progress even further.

Jack is a wonderful dog behaviourist and trainer. He is so kind and knowledgeable - We are very grateful to have his support and guidance with our rescue dog. Vince is anxious, touch sensitive and very wary of other dogs / strangers. He was losing trust in everything and leaving the house was becoming impossible. Thankfully Jack has helped us to read Vince’s body language, taught us ‘games’ to help him process situations and techniques to help him in stressful circumstances- All through positive reinforcement. We cannot recommend him enough!

Jack was fantastic with my rescue dog, Suki! He provided incredible insight into dog psychology and body language, helping me see things from a dog's perspective and understand how they respond to our actions. When we started, Suki lacked confidence, was easily frustrated, and was more focused on distractions than on me during walks. After just five 1-1 training sessions with Jack, where I was taught several tips and techniques to encourage good behaviour, she’s transformed. She now loves running free, plays confidently with other dogs, and listens to me much better. She even understands when I ask her to calm down after a run! I can’t recommend Jack enough for any behavioral or training challenges. His approach focuses on patience and working at the dog’s own pace, which makes such a difference. It does require effort and commitment on our part as dog owners, but the results are absolutely worth it! Thank you Jack!

Our experience with Jack has been brilliant! It’s clear that he loves dogs and is passionate about what he does. His training was so positive, simple and enjoyable (for the dog and us). Using his techniques, we have been able to easily train our puppy out of some behaviour we didn’t like and instil some good behaviours. We are so pleased with what we achieved in our sessions think they are great value for money! Thank you Jack!
